The Little Black Dress Run

If you know how to party like there’s no tomorrow, a weeklong visit to Sydney is perfect for you. Join the a colourful celebration of the Pride Month from 19th of February to 6th of March 2016 and party your nights away with a spectacular Mardi Gras festival that celebrates queer freedom.

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival will be hosting loads of activities within Sydney and New South Wales. Here are three among plenty of great shows for you and your friends:

GX Australia 2016 (Australian Technology Park, 27-28 Feb. 2016)
Dubbed as Australia’s first queer geek and gaming convention, this is the perfect venue to interact and make friends with people who share the same interests, hobbies and identity.

The Little Black Dress Run (Darling Harbour Foreshore, 28 Feb. 2016)
Our friends from the Sydney Frontrunners LGBTIQ running group are on a roll as they organise a ‘Little Black Dress Run’ that seeks to raise funds for charity. Running has never been more stylish. Replace your usual running gear with your favourite little black dress and join other participants for a 3-kilometer course in Darling Harbour, Sydney.

iOTA (Oxford Art Factory, 3 March 2016 | 4 March 2016)
If you remember that crazy guitarist in box office success Mad Max: Fury Road and the Orchestra Leader in The Great Gatsby, iOTA is back on the road to promote his newest album ‘Wolf Number Nine’, where he’ll be joined by his four-piece band Poo Poo Da Blue for a live music gig fans have been waiting for!
