Get up close to fascinating Aussie animals at Wild Life, Sydney’s premier zoo, right in the heart of the city.
Located at Darling Harbour, not far from our Chippendale Sydney accommodation, the attraction lovingly recreates the sights, sounds and atmosphere of eight iconic Australian habitats, including the Outback, the eucalyptus forest and the dense green rainforest. As you explore these habitats you will discover a diverse selection of our most loved and most feared animals, including cuddly koala bears, wallabies and pythons. At Kakadu Gorge you will come face to face with Rex, a huge 5 metre saltwater croc that is thought to be one of the largest examples of his species in the world. Ghost bats, dunnarts, bilbys and other creatures of the night await you in the atmospheric nocturnal house, while tarantulas and funnel web spiders can be found in the Bugs Garden – arachnophobes beware!
As well as stunning walk through habitats, the zoo features interactive displays, educational and inspiring daily entertainment shows and daily animal feeding sessions.
